President Trump is at CPAC today and boy oh boy, did POTUS bring the house down!
In the great Hall filled with thousands of conservatives, there was plenty of cheering, standing ovations, and general positive excitement. Except for one person! A lone protester snuck in and heckled the President! (VIDEO BELOW)
POTUS was launching into how the Tax Cuts were a positive win for the American people, when suddenly the crowd started chanting “U…S…A!” Trump supporters know to start that chant when there is a disruption by an adversary during a Trump speech. What the heckler said was indistinguishable.
However, The Hill reported, President “Trump stopped his speech to wait until the interruption subsided, before jokingly asking the organizers of the group how the protester got into the hall. He then turned to chastise the media by joking that the “fake news” would focus on the protester, instead of his speech.”
President Trump has jokes:
POTUS addressed the media and he was amazingly witty. At this point, he was no longer on the tele-promter and completely off the cuff. Likewise, with a glint in his eye and a smile on his lips he said, “How did HE get in here, Matt? Boy! OK! Just for the media. The fake news back there,” as he extended his arm and pointed to the back of the room! (VIDEO BELOW)
President Trump continued addressing the media which elicited laughter from the attendees. He continued, “They took very good care of him. They were very gentle. He was very obnoxious. It was only one person.”
“So we have thousands of people here. So, listen tomorrow the headline will be: Protesters disturb the [speech]. [It was] one person, folks. Doesn’t deserve a mention.”
Trump added, “Doesn’t deserve a headline tomorrow, will be ‘DISRUPTER’S OF CPAC’. [It was] one person. And, he was very nice. We looked at him and he immediately left.” (VIDEO BELOW)
The crowd broke out in gleeful laughter throughout the great Hall!
