Stephen Colbert, the host of the “Late Show” is widely known for taking horrible jabs at President Trump.
Likewise, many have tuned him out. (Video below)
Hollywood, late night hosts, and mainstream media cater to the left while attacking the President, his family, and Trump’s administration.
And, it seems the fad is to jump on the Trump-bashing bandwagon and attack the President to appear “cool” or fit in.
However, after Roseanne’s return and her ratings shattered the airwaves last week, it’s opened the eyes to many who are acting dumbfounded.
What liberal Hollywood and “comedians” don’t get… is that no matter how much garbage they try to spew, America thinks for themselves. That’s why Trump won. (Video below)
Roseanne’s ratings SPEAKS VOLUMES. It proves many things, and among those and most importantly, is that you don’t have to bash the President to see good ratings. Are you listening HOLLYWOOD?
However, Thursday night during his show, Colbert did something he has NEVER done before: apologize.
While he was discussing Roseanne’s return to ABC, Colbert praised the sitcoms amazing reviews, and then touched on President Trump’s speech in Ohio. The President, while giving his speech on infrastructure, also praised Roseanne’s ratings. (Video below)
“The reason why Trump crowed about the ratings is because on the show the character Roseanne agrees with Donald Trump, and a lot of people have called that refreshing. Well, I would like 18 million people to watch my show.” Colbert said during his show.
Therefore, Colbert added he “sincerely” apologizes to Trump, admitting that there is something the pair can agree on: “CNN lies!”
Colbert continued, “Hear me out. Last night, we had my old friend Dana Carvey on the show, and he did a fantastic impression of the new national security adviser, John Bolton.” (Video below)
The next morning, Colbert said, he noticed CNN posted an article about the short skit with the headline, “Look who’s playing John Bolton on SNL.” Colbert then pointed to a screenshot of the headline, which was highlighted in bold letters.
CNN later issued a correction and updated the headline on the website to “Iconic ‘SNL’ star spoofs Trump staffing pick.”
“Fake news! I take everything back. I apologize. Donald Trump is a great president, come on.” Colbert declared.

Could this be a change where people are opening their eyes to truth? President Trump is a good man. He is a good President; he does want to do good for America and all Americans. President Trump didn’t have to run. He had a perfect life. He gave up his billionaire lifestyle for us.
It’s time to stop the division Hollywood, mainstream media and late night show hosts. Time to listen to America and quit shoving your hateful rhetoric down peoples throats.
Do you believe Colbert is being sincere? Do you think his eyes have opened, and perhaps he will try to gain some conservative viewers now? It takes a bigger person to admit when they are wrong and apologize. We won’t hold our breath with Colbert, but this is a chance for public voices to come together and stop the hate.
