Early this morning, while the White House was busy preparing for the day, a meeting was called. President Trump wanted to speak with Rod Rosenstein.

When POTUS calls you in for a meeting at Capitol Hill, you drop what you’re doing and you GO. And so, this is how it was discovered that Rod had an unexpected meeting with the POTUS.

After the Trump meeting, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein didn’t show up to introduce the Attorney General at the event where he was scheduled!

Additionally, it was reported by Fox News “the emcee of that event announced that Rosenstein had been “called away on another matter.”

Breitbart reports, Rosenstein was on the program for the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act.  Additionally, the place was filled with reporters! Naturally, his absence drew wild speculations! The wildest was that President Trump was firing Rosenstein!

However, when a reporter saw Rosenstein exiting the White House, then the spicy rumors really ramped-up that Rosenstein had been fired by POTUS! (SEE PROGRAM BELOW.)

But, that was not the case. An official at the White Houses relayed to Fox News that “Rod Rosenstein met with the President at the White House regarding routine department business.”

Leave it to the Washington Post to spark the rumor!

Washington Post’s, Matt Zapostosky fired off this tweet shortly after it was discovered Rosenstein was not at the event. He says, “From what I understand, Rod Rosenstein, along with the FBI general counsel, went to the White House today for a meeting on Congressional document requests. I don’t know with whom he spoke. He remains the Deputy Attorney General, to the best of my knowledge as of this writing.” (See tweet below.)
