In a letter written to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, the House of Representatives of the 115th Congress issues a nomination for President Donald J. Trump for consideration to win the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize.

Moments ago, Congressional lawmakers release letter nominating President Trump for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize.
Spearheaded by Luke Messer (IN-R), The 16 other lawmakers who signed the letter, include:
Ralph Norman (SC-R), Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (TX-R), Scott DeJarlais (TN-R), Kevin Cramer (ND-R), Amamua Amata Coleman Radewagen (American Samoa-R). And Mark Meadows (NC-R), Matt Gatez (FL-R), Doug LaMalfa (CA-R), David E. McKinley P.E. (WV-R), Brian Babin D.D.S. (TX-R), Diane Black (TN-R), Steve King (IA-R). Additionally, Pete Olsen (R-TX) Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Jim Penacci (R-OH), Drew Ferguson (R-GA), and Evan Jenkins (R-W. VA).
On behalf of the American people, we would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU, to our American Congressmen for recognizing our President and his efforts. Please note that not one single Democrat or Independent Congressman signed the letter. It is reminiscent of when no Democrats supported the Tax Cut for middle America. (Letter below.)
Furthermore, the letter continues, “Since taking office, President Trump has worked tirelessly to apply maximum pressure to North Korea.”
The Hill reports:
“Trump is set to meet with Kim at the end of May or sometime in June, marking the first such encounter between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader in history. (Continued below.)
North Korea has agreed to cease its tests of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles ahead of the meeting, and recently announced that it would shutter a nuclear site in the northern part of the country as a show of good faith.”
