John McCain is an American hero who had a political spat with President Trump. Thankfully, Trump did not back down, despite the media trying to shame Trump into it, and we are better off as a nation.
Trump took on the establishment, he had to make the point as forceful as possible such were the stakes, and he was tough on them.
He pointed out the blunders of the past as a way to put them behind us and take us in a new direction.
One much better for America and the rest of the world. The establishment figures like McCain fought him every step of the way but it seems they are all coming around.
Trump’s habit of winning is contagious. Make no mistake, this was a brave and necessary thing for John to do and he should be commended for it,

Sen. John McCain has made a shocking admission: The Iraq War was a “mistake,” and he’s taking the blame.
In his new memoir, McCain who is battling brain cancer, writes that the Iraq War “can’t be judged as anything other than a mistake, a very serious one, and I have to accept my share of the blame for it.”
McCain is among the most hawkish Republicans in the Senate and was an ardent supporter of the George W. Bush administration’s decision to go to war with Iraq and a later US troop surge.
“The principal reason for invading Iraq, that Saddam had WMD, was wrong,” McCain wrote in his new book. “The war, with its cost in lives and treasure and security, can’t be judged as anything other than a mistake, a very serious one, and I have to accept my share of the blame for it.”
