The twitterverse lit up this Memorial day weekend. Several libs decided to pull at the heart-strings of Americans. So they tweeted a photo of children in cages.
The photo was to contrast how inhumanly the Trump administration is treating the children who are crossing our borders illegally. (MORE BELOW.)
The contrast between American Memorial day weekend celebrations and the libs who are attempting to show how awfully the Trump administration is treating illegal immigrant children is startling. Except it BACKFIRED.
It BACKFIRED because the photograph of children in cages actually happened in 2014 during Obama’s watch.
A CNN/Politico reporter, Hadas Gold, Linda Sarsour and Shaun King began re-tweeting a sad photograph of children sleeping in cages. No blankets. No pillow. Just a hard, cold floor. In a cage with a purple port-o-potty.

First, the original tweet was deleted. As reported by The Daily Caller, It was a “former Obama speechwriter, Jon Favreau [who] tweeted a link to an AZCentral.com article entitled “First glimpse of immigrant children at holding facility.” The tweet that started it all has now been deleted.
Then Hadas Gold, deleted her tweet and made a retraction. She said, “Deleted previous tweet because gave impression of recent photos (they’re from 2014).” Click here for her retracted tweet. And the people did not let her off easy, one person tweeted back to her, “No you did not “give the impression”. You flat-out said it.”
Linda Sarsour, the leader of the Woman’s March and lib activist took the easy way out. She simply deleted the wrongful tweet and said nothing about it. (MORE BELOW.)
And Shaun King, a BLM activist, left his tweet and photo up with a link to the original article showing that it was from 2014 under Obama and yet making it appear as if it is recent.
