Sarah Huckabee Sanders has a heart of gold. This is certainly true. And today, during the press conference, a young boy asked Sarah a question.

After the question was posed, Sarah held genuine tears of concern for every child of America when she responds. (VIDEO BELOW.)

The child intern asks, as he reads from a sheet of paper: “We recently had a lock down drill. One thing that affects my and other student’s mental health is the worry about the fact that we or our friends could get shot at school.”

Then he continues, “Specifically, can you tell me what the administration has done and will do to prevent these senseless tragedies?”

Sarah, literally, washed her tears down with her response. The genuine concern for the children of America was very much evident in her quivering voice and her rounded sad eyes.

She said, “As a kid and certainly as a parent there is nothing that could be more terrifying for a kid to go to school and not feel safe.” (VIDEO BELOW.)

Then Sarah said, “So, I’m sorry that you feel that way.”

Sarah really choked up when she said, “This administration takes it seriously, and the School Safety Commission that the President convened is meeting this week again.”

She continued, “An official meeting. To discuss the best ways forward and how we can do every single thing within our power to protect kids in our schools. And to make them feel safe. And make their parent’s feel good about dropping them off.” (VIDEO BELOW.)

In ending, with that…the meeting continued as if the emotional display went unnoticed. We noticed Sarah. And we are with you, it is very sad that our children have to feel that way in a school.
