Andrew McCabe, Obama-era former FBI Deputy Director is seeking immunity in exchange for his testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee or he will plead the fifth! (VIDEO BELOW.)
Fox News Channel reports, “Ousted FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is seeking immunity in exchange for his testimony related to a Justice Department watchdog’s referral for possible prosecution, ahead of a congressional hearing on the handling of the Clinton email probe during the 2016 presidential election.”
McCabe’s attorney, sent a letter. In part, it states, “We hereby request that the Judiciary Committee authorize a grant of use immunity to Mr. McCabe,” adding that the “no testimony or other information provided by Mr. McCabe could be used against him in any criminal case,” per Fox News.
The Obama-era upper echelons of the FBI are turning on each like, well, swamp rats. For lack of a better term. Catherine explains that because McCabe is asking for immunity it means that he cannot be charged for lying under oath. The testimony is planned for the end of the month.
The Inspector General’s report is critical to be released before the interview with McCabe, Catherine explains. Additionally, she tells us the importance that the House receives the report so they can review it and ask the right questions. (VIDEO BELOW.)
Finally! THIS is what we have all been waiting for. McCabe testifying. With or without immunity. That is the question!
