Fox News contributor, Dan Bongino slammed former President Barack Obama for past comments he made denying early knowledge of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.
His criticism comes shortly after the release of the report by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz. The report found that FBI Director James Comey was insubordinate. The report also criticized Obama’s handling of the Clinton email probe. (VIDEOS BELOW)
Obama said in a 2015 interview with CBS News that he first learned of Clinton’s use of the private server “at the same time everybody else learned it through news reports.”
“That’s nonsense,” Bongino said Saturday on Fox & Friends. “Obama’s clearly not telling the truth here.”
Obama said in the interview that Clinton was a “great secretary of state” within his administration and that his administration encouraged transparency. (SURE THEY DID.) We can see this is false!
“Now you sense the frustration of large swaths of America who feel like there’s two justice systems out there,” Bongino said. (VIDEOS BELOW)

Horowitz concluded in his report that while mistakes were made, there was no bias in the FBI’s handling of the Clinton email investigation.
“[Obama] was not telling the truth. It’s unbelievable what this administration got away with,” Bongino added.
According to Horowitz’s report, Obama was one of only a few people who had “direct contact” with Clinton through her private email account.
FBI analysts and Prosecutor 2 said that Barack Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account.
Bongino said the emails coming into the former president’s personal cellphone had to be vetted in advance, meaning it had to go through White House security too. This indicates there may have been several officials involved with this knowledge that was kept private.
“That provides a perfect incentive for Barack Obama’s Department of Justice to make the Hillary Clinton email investigation go away like an Alka-Seltzer tablet in water because Barack Obama would have been a witness,” he added.
