Backfire! The dems are losing ground on the politically motivated Russian witch hunt. It appears that all poll numbers point to democrats, republicans and independents view Mueller and his probe unfavorably.
Politico reports, “Robert Mueller’s disapproval rating is at its highest point since Morning Consult and Politico began tracking the Special Counsel,” said Tyler Sinclair, Morning Consult’s managing director.
Politco reports: Mueller’s unfavorable numbers have hit highs among both dems and independents, at 24 percent and 33 percent, respectively. Thirty-six percent of all registered voters are also seeing Mueller unfavorably, which represents the highest level since the polling first raised the topic 11 months ago.
“A key driver of this movement appears to be Republicans. Today, 53 percent of Republicans have an unfavorable impression of Robert Mueller, compared to just 27 percent who said the same in July 2017.”
CNN reports, Mueller’s favorable rating is just 32%. And disgraced former FBI director James Comey’s favorability is just 28%. Their headline reads, “CNN Poll: Americans think Russia investigation is serious and should continue.”
Although CNN has a poll saying as much. It cannot be viewed as scientific since “surveying self-identified viewers of CNN and MSNBC, who, combined, said they supported the Mueller probe by a 79-18 percent margin (officials couldn’t break the numbers down by specific network viewership without getting into a statistically insignificant sample size) per the Daily Beast.
The bottom line is the Mueller probe is losing interest from the American people. And even the CNN poll whose collective interviewees are mainly dems and statistically insignificant, view Mueller unfavorably.
CNN’s poll confirms that more dems see Mueller and his probe unfavorably. And with increasing calls for the investigators to be investigated perhaps it’s time for the American people to know the truth about what happened before and after Hillary lost the 2016 Presidential election.
