CNN really is fake news! In case you missed it, on the first day of the United Kingdom visit, Jim Acosta of CNN was disrespectful to the President of the United States.
Acosta blurted out during the first day presser, “Mr. President since you attacked CNN, can I ask you a question?” Naturally, President Trump skipped over him.
Furthermore, when Acosta was skipped due to his rudeness, he then behaved in a very whiny manner.
Acosta says, “We’re real news, too” after POTUS did not accept a question from CNN. Click here to read more about that.
VIDEO BELOW as Acosta attacks POTUS disrespectfully.
Now lets fast forward to today.
Yesterday, it was reported that our National Security Adviser, John Bolton was scheduled to speak on CNN with Jake Tapper today.
Jake’s show is called The State Of The Union. The name of the show should not to be confused with an actual State of the Union address. Even their show names are misleading.
Anyway, in lieu of the rude attack by Jim on the President who said POTUS attacked CNN…yes, that was confusing but that is exactly what happened, the White House responds by cancelling the appearance of John Bolton on CNN.
Wired Sources tweets, “JUST IN: National Security Advisor John Bolton cancels CNN interview after CNN reporter Jim Acosta disrespects President Trump and British PM Theresa May during press conference.”
After Jake Tapper of CNN tweets MORE FAKE NEWS, Sarah Sanders, White House Press Secretary tweets back to correct his error.
Jake Tweets, “Update:
@AmbJohn Bolton had been locked in for tomorrow’s @CNNSOTU. Then the president attacked CNN during his UK presser, and our WH correspondent tried to ask a question. We are told Amb. Bolton remains fully prepared to do the interview but the White House has canceled it.”
It appears, CNN is doubling down on the narrative that POTUS attacked CNN. When it was really the other way around.
Sarah responds back in a tweet, she says, “Actually a
@CNN reporter disrespected @POTUS & PM May during their press conf. Instead of rewarding bad behavior, we decided to reprioritize the TV appearances for administration officials.”
