Earlier this morning, Senator Rand Paul dropped a MOAB and suggested revoking the security clearance of former Obama official, John Brennan. Brennan is STILL in TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) suffer-mode!
Brennan is the former Obama-era CIA Director. Currently, he is working for CNN and saying all kinds of things like Trump’s performance in Helsinki was “treasonous.”
Furthermore, it is amusing that Brennan would describe anyone as treasonous. Especially, since he voted for a communist in 1976 then joined the CIA in 1980.
Brennan may not be the best person to be able to define what is and what is not treason.
During the white house press briefing Sarah lays it down!
However, today at the daily press briefing in the White House, John Gizzi from Newsmax asks Sarah about it!
Moreover, Sarah is in top form as she fields the question in no uncertain terms with her usual power and grace!
Gizzi starts off with, “Thank you, Sarah.” Then moves onto in his surly voice, “Senator Rand Paul, today, made a strong attempt to insinuate the credibility of former CIA Director John Brennan.”
The Newsmax reporter then says, “and I quote – “monetizing his security clearance and that it should be removed from him.” And he [Rand Paul] is calling on the President to do this.”
Finally getting to his question he asks, “Will the President consider Senator Paul’s suggestion and call for the removal of former director Brennan’s security clearance?”
And without missing one single beat, Sarah was ready! She says LOUD and CLEAR, “Not only is the President looking to take away Brennan’s security clearance.”
Then she lists WHO ELSE might have their security clearance revoked! She informs us, “He’s also looking into the clearances of Comey, Clapper, Hayden, Rice and Mccabe. The President is exploring the mechanisms to remove security clearances because they’ve politicized. And in some cases, monetized their public service and security clearances.”
She continues and explains they have been “making baseless accusations of improper contact with Russia or being influenced by Russia. Against the President [and it] is extremely inappropriate.”
Sarah then adds, “And the fact that people with security clearance’s are making these baseless charges, provides inappropriate legitimacy to accusations with zero evidence.”
