Moments After Former Agent Got Canned, GOP Sounds Off In Epic Fashion

Hours ago, FBI agent Peter Strzok was FIRED from his position at the FBI.

For many, this decision did not come soon enough. For others, they would rather brush it under the table and not have it discussed or noticed.

Here’s the breakdown.

The mainstream media, CNN, MSNBC, and ABC made reports of the firing as “Breaking News” and then quickly moved onto other subjects.

Who weighed in with support of Strzok’s firing from the FBI?

There is great support for this firing from members of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees and members of the the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) along with Congressmen Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Darrell Issa (R-CA), Ron DeSantis (R-FL), Mark Meadows (R-NC), Jim Jordan (R-OH) all expressed support. (Continued Below)

Pundits Judge Jeanine Pirro expressed support, while Sean Hannity retweets Sara Carter’s article.

Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch also shows support of Strzok being released from the FBI.

Additionally, and most poignantly, the President of the United States has weighed in with support of Strzok being removed from the FBI.

Who did NOT weigh in? 

Equally as interesting is who DID NOT have a word to say about it.

CNN, MSNBC and ABC gave it one quick mention and then tailspinned right back in to the Omoraso narrative.

Nothing from Paul Ryan, Majority Speaker of the House or Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader.

Senator Chuck Shumer (D-NY), who is the Senate Minority Leader and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Minority Leader had zippo to say. Nothing. Nada.

Adam Schiff (D-CA), ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, oddly, has his eyes closed on this one.

Not one single peep out of the Democrats.

The FBI was right to fire biased agent Peter Strzok. It should have happened a long time ago.

There’s no place for someone like Peter Strzok at the FBI. Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out. Sayonara!

The firing of anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok is welcome, if overdue. By exhibiting such rampant bias, Strzok did enormous damage to the FBI and to the country.

Accountability has not always been quick or easy. But the fact that so many of 2016’s key players — Comey (fired), McCabe (fired), Strzok (fired), Lisa Page (demoted), Ohr (demoted) — have seen adverse actions taken against them shows that these matters were mishandled.

Peter Strzok was fired because of what his own text messages plainly showed: he was willing to use his official FBI position to try and stop President Trump from getting elected. His firing is long overdue.

It’s about time.
