Monday night President Trump fired a shot at Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in a fiery tweet.
Trump doesn’t mess around, and he just warned Syria, Russia, and Iran. There is a new sheriff in town!
President Trump took to Twitter Monday night warning Assad and his pals not to let its next phase of the Syrian civil war become a humanitarian catastrophe.
President Trump warned, “President Bashar al-Assad of Syria must not recklessly attack Idlib Province. The Russians and Iranians would be making a grave humanitarian mistake to take part in this potential human tragedy.Hundreds of thousands of people could be killed.”
He threatened, “Don’t let that happen!”
From Daily Caller:
Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is supported by Russia and Iran, who are looking to consolidate total control of the country by taking over the last province held by rebels, Idlib. Idlib has a population of approximately three million remaining civilians and humanitarian organizations fear a complete bloodbath in the final battles of the war.
Trump’s warning appears to carry the threat of military action after he previously struck the Syrian regime twice since his presidency for use of chemical weapons. In both cases, the president warned the Syrian and Russian regimes that these actions will not be tolerated on the battlefield. (Continued Below)
