It’s not American to hate the President of the United States as much as Hollywood does. It’s un-American.

Fahrenheit 9/11 hits rock bottom.
The Hollywood Reporter stated, “A trio of high-profile fall festival films opening nationwide got iced at the weekend box office — Michael Moore’s new documentary Fahrenheit 11/9...”
Even though Hollywood is trying to prop Fahrenheit 11/9 up and “currently sports a 79 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.” American’s who go to the movies, did not agree.
The Hollywood Reporter said, “his films, similar to other political or specialized docs, have launched first in select theaters before expanding their footprint in order to capitalize on word of mouth.” (More below.)
Dinesh D’Souza’s political documentary did FAR better.
“While it’s true Fahrenheit 11/9 posted one of the biggest bows ever for a political doc, it is only the fourth political doc to launch nationwide, making comparisons tough,” the Hollywood Reporter said.
Dinesh D’Souza’s political documentary “Death of a Nation: Can we save America a second time?” released over one thousand theaters Nationwide and has enjoyed 5.8 million per Box Office MOJO.
Furthermore, earlier it was reported that the film only brought in one million this weekend. The Daily Wire reported, “the movie brought in just $1 million from more than 1,700 screens. The film was projected to haul in $5 million to $8 million.”
Although, new reports are saying it now hit three million. Box Office MOJO does not have enough information on Moore’s box office flop to accurately report a comparison. (Continued below.)
In ending, it’s hard to tell what is accurate; however, “Forbes reports that Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9 tanked in its 1,719 theater-wide release debut,” per Slashfilm.
