President Trump addressed the Press Corp today after the renegotiation of the NAFTA trade deal between Mexico, Canada and the United States.

Cecila Vega of ABC News tried to change the narrative to the Kavanaugh hearings and President Trump stayed firm on discussing the historic Trade deal. (VIDEO BELOW.)

Training the media is fun to watch and President Trump has JOKES!

In an hilarious moment, while reporters sat outside the White House in an open air presser, with White House staff standing and surrounding the President, he called on Vega of ABC News.

It took her a minute to realize that she actually had been called upon. Apparently, she was NOT prepared as it took her too many precious moments to get with the program.

The President joked about her lack of preparedness, he said, “She is shocked that I picked her. She is in a state of shock,” POTUS joked as the staff and press corp can be heard laughing.

Vega suddenly stands and said, “I’m not thinking, Mr. President,” and not missing one single beat – President Trump said, “It’s okay. I know – you’re not thinking – you rarely do.” (VIDEO BELOW.)

You can almost see the ‘deer in the headlights’ look on Vega’s face!

With righteous indignation and now TRUE shock, you can hear Vega say, “I’m sorry?”

And POTUS said, “No…go ahead,” further encouraging her he said, “Go ahead.”

And true to what President Trump said of the media…they rarely THINK…she asked a question that was not at all about Trade but about what the media wants the narrative to be. The Kavanaugh hearing. (VIDEO BELOW.)

The media really doesn’t THINK. So President Trump gave them something to THINK about.

POTUS skillfully changed the narrative away from Kavanaugh and back to Trade.

The Daily Caller reported on the back and forth, Vega asked POTUS “In a tweet this weekend, Mr. President, you said it’s incorrect to say you are limiting the scope of the FBI investigation.”

“What does that have to do with trade?” Trump asked. “I don’t mind answering the question, but I’d like to do the Trade questions.”

After a back-and-forth with the reporter, Trump said, “How about talking about trade and … then we’ll do that later. Does anybody have a trade — go ahead?”  (VIDEO BELOW.)

Vega said reluctantly, “Do you think your trade deal will pass through Congress?”

“I think so. We have other alternatives,” Trump said. “If they’re fair, which is a big question. If it’s fair on both sides. The Republicans love it. Industry loves it. Our country loves it,” he answered per the Daily Caller’s transcription.

ABC tweeted: Pres. Trump says he’ll answer ‘s question about whether White House is limiting scope FBI inquiry into Brett Kavanaugh “later,” preferring to talk about trade: “How about talking about trade, and then we’ll get to that. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW.
