Catherine Herridge of Fox News caught up with Glenn Simpson as he strode the hallways of Capitol Hill – showing up for his testimony in front of Congress today.
Herridge who is Chief Intelligence correspondent for Fox News asked Simpson questions in rapid succession as they both walked briskly down the hallway surrounded by the entourage of legal eagles. (VIDEO BELOW.)

Simpson who was a former journalist at the Wall Street Journal is no stranger to D.C.
He left WSJ in 2009 and co-founded the research firm – Fusion GPS. The DNC hired Fusion GPS to find opposition research on the Presidential 2016 Trump campaign.
He was standing in front of Congress to find out WHY Simpson “was unwilling to provide information on the anti-Trump dossier that was used to secure a surveillance warrant in October of 2016,” Catherine said. (VIDEO BELOW.)
Glenn Simpson PLEADS the FIFTH AMENDMENT to CONGRESS.
“Glenn Simpson pleaded the Fifth Amendment on Tuesday to House Republicans,” reported the Washington Examiner.
Although his lawyers basically called it a “political exercise,” Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Freedom Caucus chair said “the day of reckoning is upon him.”
Fox News reported on Congressman Meadow’s statement about the plea. Meadows said, “you have to have a reasonable expectation of prosecution in order to invoke it.” (VIDEO BELOW.)
So what was Glenn protecting himself from by pleading the 5th?
What did he do? “What crime did he commit that he’s trying to protect himself?” Meadows asked.
