The concept of capital punishment or the death penalty can be considered controversial.

Or it can be considered a tool to STOP gunmen from taking that step to actually follow through with killing fellow Americans. (VIDEO BELOW.)

President Trump calls for the DEATH PENALTY to make a comeback in the wake of the horror at the Tree of Life Synagogue on Saturday.

On Saturday, President Trump had a choice to continue onward with the rally scheduled in Illinois, or not to go in reverence to the massacre that occurred at the Synagogue.

President Trump and his team decided to go to the Rally and not cancel it. In the same spirit of New York after the 9-11 event, they would not let the terrorists stop them from continuing forward. That’s the essence of the American spirit!

At the rally, President Trump addressed the the big elephant in the room – the  massacre. He said, “When you have crimes like this. Whether it’s this one or another one. Or another group. We have to bring back the DEATH PENALTY.” The crowd of American Patriots rose and cheered.

President Trump continued with a serious and somber tone, he said, “They have to pay the ultimate price. They can’t do this to our Country.” And with great sincerity and passion, he continued, “We MUST draw a line in the sand, and say VERY strongly, NEVER AGAIN.” (VIDEO BELOW.)

Does capital punishment work?

Capital punishment is approved or disapproved on a State by State basis. Right now, there are 31 States who believe and apply the death penalty.

Currently, “Lethal injection is currently the primary method of execution in all 31 states that have capital punishment. Texas was the first state to use the method, in 1982,” as reported by NCSL.
