President Trump took to twitter Thursday evening where he dropped a two part series of tweets quoting Trish Regan of Fox Business and Roger Stone associate Jerome Corsi, who recently filed a complaint against Robert Mueller.
Corsi filed a 78-page ‘criminal and ethics’ complaint against Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and he blasted what he called the special counsel’s “completely fraudulent” threat to charge him with providing a false statement. (Videos Below)
During an airing on Fox Business, Trish Regan interviewed Jerome Corsi where he discussed being the target of the Mueller probe.
Corsi said, “My crime is that I supported the President and I did my best to help get [him] elected. And now, I’m a criminal for having done that. It’s a political prosecution and I filed a complaint with the DOJ against Mueller.”
President Trump took note and tweeted, “Jerome Corsi: This is not justice, this is not America. This is a political prosecution. The Special Prosecutor (Counsel), to get this plea deal, demanded I lie and violate the law. They’re the criminals.” He is not alone. 17 Angry Dems. People forced to lie. Sad! @Trish_Regan”
Next, Trish Regan brought attention to the known fact of how the FBI didn’t follow protocol to determine the authenticity of the Steele dossier before seeking a FISA warrant, which ultimately led to the spying of Carter Page. (Videos Below)
Trish Regan said, “If the FBI didn’t follow protocol to determine the authenticity of the dossier before seeking a FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page, that’s outrageous. We cannot permit the use of government resources to take down political foes. Congress must get to the bottom of this.”
Moments later, the President tweeted.
He wrote on Twitter, “Trish_Regan: Did the FBI follow protocol to obtain the FISA warrant? I don’t think so. The Dossier was opposition research funded by opponents.
