President Trump took to Twitter Monday morning in a series of tweets where he blasted Democrats, then he urged them to “loosen up and have some fun.
It’s unclear what prompted the President to tell Democrats to “loosen up”, however multiple Democrats over the weekend made clear their presidential aspirations for 2020, and took shots at the President in the process. (Video Below)
The President began where he quoted Jesse Watters from Fox News about fact checking. During the weeked, Watters pointed out that “fact checkers” are lying.
Watters said President Trump, during the State of the Union address, pointed out that that violent crime in El Paso, Texas dropped after the border wall was built, but “fact checkers” claimed that Trump lied.
Watters explained, “The media cherry picked the timeline from the time the money was authorized for the wall until only 2011 to make it look like crime went up. Crime decreased 20% from 2009-2016. The fact checkers have become fake news.”

Next, the President said, “No president ever worked harder than me (cleaning up the mess I inherited)!”
Trump also lashed out at Democrats after border security negotiations hit a snag in part because of their desire to cap the number of beds available to hold detained immigrants. He wrote, “The Democrats do not want us to detain, or send back, criminal aliens! This is a brand new demand. Crazy!”
Talks among lawmakers negotiating on funding for border security faltered over the weekend as the dispute about Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) ability to hold immigrants in detention centers emerged as the latest sticking point, reported The Hill. (Video Below)
Democrats want to cap the number of detention beds for immigrants picked up by ICE in other parts of the country away from the border at 16,000, an administration official said, down from 38,000. Republicans have pushed to exclude a number of immigrants convicted of a range of crimes from that cap, per The Hill.
Trump slammed the Democratic position as dangerous, tweeting on Sunday that the party does not “even want to take murderers into custody!”
Next, the President urged Democrats to take a chill pill and loosen up.
He wrote, “The Democrats are so self righteous and ANGRY! Loosen up and have some fun. The Country is doing well!”
Trump concluded by announcing, “Will be heading to El Paso very soon. Big speech on Border Security and much else tonight. Tremendous crowd! See you later!” (Video Below)
