Senate Majority Mitch McConnell caused uproar among his Democrat colleagues in the Senate just weeks ago after he called on a vote to see who actually shows support for the proposed Green New Deal.

Democrat Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has pushed forward with her rhetoric in support of the Green New Deal despite it getting heavily ridiculed after details of the plan were posted on her website.

The Green New Deal is projected to cost trillions of dollars, while it calls for the elimination of cow farts and airplanes, among other ‘high-carbon’ producing elements of society, as well as rewarding those who do not work.

McConnell thinks that the far-fetched bill is an example of socialism at its worst.  He looks show the American people where all of his colleagues in the Senate stand on such a measure as they are all set to vote on Tuesday.

The move comes just one day after McConnell blocked the Mueller report from being made public, and it will mainly be a test to see how closely aligned Democrat senators are with Ocasio-Cortez, who has become the face of the Democrat party in recent days.

In a pair of statements on Monday evening, McConnell praised findings of the Mueller report, and called for both sides to come together to set aside the notion that Trump colluded with Russia. He then put full focus on the pending Green New Deal vote. Video Below

McConnell attached his full statement on the Mueller report with the caption, “No collusion. No conspiracy. No obstruction. It’s good news that we can conclusively set aside the notion that the president and his team had somehow participated in Russia’s interference in our electoral process.”
