Former CIA Director and Trump hater, John Brennan, visited Capitol Hill Tuesday after congressional Democrats invited him to give a briefing on the situation in Iran, despite his previous “misinformation” that he admitted to regarding the Mueller probe.
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), spoke with host Martha MacCallum on Fox News and fired back at Brennan for his continuous lies and conspiracies.
After the Special Counsel finished their report and concluded that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia nor did President Trump obstruct justice, John Brennan changed his tune.
“I don’t know if I received bad information, but I think I suspected that there was more than there actually was,” Brennan said publicly on MSNBC March 25.
President Trump, on Tuesday, tweeted Brennan’s quote as Democrats and the leftwing media continue to peddle their conspiracies adding, “Wow, he admits he was wrong! Congress should go back to work on drug prices, ect.”
Nonetheless, Brennan flip-flopped and responded to the President’s tweet writing, “I subsequently learned from the Mueller report that there was a lot more evidence of collusion and obstruction of justice than was indicated in the misleading & highly politicized Barr memo. Your obvious fear of Congressional action is warranted & your dishonesty is appalling.” (Continued Below)
Asked what Brennan was doing at Capitol Hill, Sen. John Kennedy shot back at the former CIA Director and suggested, “In my judgment, Martha, Mr. Brennan needs to take off his tin hat and get a job!”
“He’s lost his security clearance. The only thing he’s well versed in is the stuff he makes up,” Kennedy said.
“It’s clear to me and has been for some time, that Mr. Brennan is not a national security professional. He’s a politician. I think that’s why he let the American people down when he ran our CIA,” he added. (Video Below)
