Former FBI Director James Comey renewed his campaign against President Trump over the past week, where he repeatedly asked for the public’s help to remove the President from office in 2020.
Comey’s remarks came in wake of President Trump’s spat with “The Squad” of four congresswomen, and “send her back” chants directed at Rep. Ilhan Omar during Trump’s North Carolina rally.
Soon after Trump attacked “The Squad” in the early part of the week, Comey said, “This country is so much better than this president. And next year we have a chance to prove it.”
Just three days later, in response to “send her back” chants that occurred during President Trump’s North Carolina rally, Comey said, “We have long had ugly margins in this country, but we are a fundamentally decent people, with shared values. We treasure our identity as a nation of immigrants.”
“With our voices and our 2020 votes, we must send Donald Trump and his mob back to their dark corner,” he declared.
