President Trump’s campaign released plastic “Trump straws” in their campaign shop last week and have now sold more than 140,000 plastic straws in just a few days.

Brad Parscale, Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, promoted the plastic straws on Thursday in response to what the campaign website calls an alternative to “liberal plastic straws.”

Brad Parscale said on Monday that the store has sold more than 140,000 Trump-labeled recyclable plastic straws.

“We have sold more than 140,000 straws. That is over $200,000 raised,” Parscale tweeted.

“More than half of all Straw purchasers were BRAND NEW small dollar donors. Amazing!” he expressed.

The reusable straws are made in America and the campaign’s Trump store offers the straws for $15 a pack this way: “Liberal paper straws don’t work. STAND WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP and buy your pack of recyclable straws today.” (Continued Below)

When Parscale first offered the straws, he tweeted, “Making Straws Great Again #Trump2020.”

The President, last week when taking questions from the press was asked about “plastic straws.”

He said, “I do think we have bigger problems than plastic straws. You have a little straw. But what about the plates, the wrappers and everything else that are much bigger, and they’re made of the same material?” (Continued Below)
