When getting her turn to grill Cory Lewandowski at Tuesday’s hearing, Sheila Jackson Lee opted to go on a full-fledged rant rather than ask questions.
During her statement, Jackson Lee accused Lewandowski of being called by President Trump to “do his dirty work in secret because he knew it was wrong.”
“Well, we will expose the truth. The President can not hide behind you any longer. You should be here today to be telling the truth, Mr. Lewandowski, because the truth will set you free and the American people,” Jackson Lee ended as Chairman Jerry Nadler reminded her that her time was up.
At the end of her statement, Chairman Nadler ordered Lewandowski to answer Rep. Jackson Lee’s question, which led to brief confusion.
Lewandowski responded, “I don’t believe there was a question, Congressman.” However, Jackson Lee replied, “Yes, there was.”
Cory then slammed Jackson Lee when he fired back: “Could you repeat the question? I couldn’t hear it…just a rant.” Video Below
