On Saturday, George Conway, the husband of White House counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, called Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) “lying trash”, and urged voters to support her Democratic challenger, Tedra Cobb.
Conway, a Republican attorney, was seemingly miffed by Stefanik’s battles with Rep. Adam Schiff during the Trump impeachment hearings. Stefanik, 35, won praise from conservatives following the hearings for going toe-to-toe with Schiff and questioning how the House Intelligence Committee chairman has conducted the impeachment inquiry so far, reported Daily Caller.
George Conway tweeted on Saturday, “@EliseStefanik is lying trash. Please give to her opponent, @TedraCobb.”
Schiff repeatedly blocked Stefanik on Friday from asking questions of former Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch after Republicans attempted to yield her time. “The gentlewoman will suspend,” Schiff said as Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) tried to yield time to Stefanik.
“What is the interruption for this time?” asked Stefanik. “It is our time.”
Rep. Stefanik ripped Kellyanne Conway’s husband, however, after he called her lying trash, calling him a misogynist and criticizing him for spreading a doctored image of her. (Continued Below)

Conway on Saturday also spread a doctored image of Stefanik, that appeared to show her flipping the middle finger.
“The photoshopped picture that the Leftist Twitter mob led by George Conway is circulating is FAKE – I’ve been so busy exposing Adam Schiff’s #regimeofsecrecy that I haven’t had time for a manicure in weeks!” Stefanik wrote on Twitter. (Continued Below)

It is worth noting, former United States ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, defended Rep. Stefanik. She wrote: “Liberals are pro women until we say or think something they don’t like then the name calling begins. @RepStefanik, keep up the great fight. We have your back.”
