President Donald Trump took to Twitter Saturday evening as he returned to D.C. after he attended the 120th Army-Navy college football game at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field.
In a pair of tweets, the Commander in Chief ripped Fox News as anchor Chris Wallace will be interviewing former FBI Director James Comey and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) as part of his Sunday lineup.
James Comey will be appearing on “Fox News Sunday” after the Department of Justice Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, released the long-awaited FISA report last Monday, pertaining to the origins of the Russia investigation. The report reveals that while the probe’s launch complied with DOJ and FBI policies, there are “significant concerns with how certain aspects of the investigation were conducted and supervised.” Attorney General Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham disagree with the conclusions.
Horowitz testified on Wednesday in the Senate Judiciary and told Chairman Lindsey Graham that Comey is not vindicated. “I think the activities don’t vindicate anybody who touched this,” the DOJ watchdog said.
On Friday the 13, the Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee voted to adopt their two articles of impeachment, alleging abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, with a straight party-line vote of 23-17. A final roll call in the full House is expected next week.
Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and the Democrats on the committee essentially parroted Adam Schiff’s talking points from his report and cherry-picked witness testimony to smear the President in their never-ending impeachment effort. (Continued Below)
President Trump, however, slammed Fox News for inviting both Comey and Schiff onto the cable network after the release of the scathing FISA report, which details how the former director was involved in trying to take down President Trump. Schiff has misled America and is currently trying to impeach the President.
