Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Christine Pelosi, spoke with host Alisyn Camerota on CNN Friday, claiming that her family is “probably one of the few families in America who did not talk about impeachment at the Christmas dinner table.”

The Democrat-majority in Congress voted to impeach President Trump for “abuse of power” and “obstruction of Congress” on December 18, one week ahead of Christmas, in relation to the president’s dealings with Ukraine.

In hopes of hearing some first-hand gossip, Alisyn Camerota eagerly beat around the bush asking Christine Pelosi, “So was Christmas interesting around your dinner table this year? Did you spend it with your mom?”

“I did. And you know the funny thing is we’re probably one of the few families in America who did not talk about impeachment at the Christmas dinner table,” Christine Pelosi claimed as she shot down the CNN host.

Camerota appeared shocked to hear that Pelosi’s family didn’t entertain the idea of impeachment during Christmas, but she tried again.

“You didn’t talk about it all? It did not come up?” Camerota asked anxiously. (Continued Below)

“No. We don’t talk politics at our dinner table. We talk sports and movies, and mostly [Nancy Pelosi] wants to know how the grandchildren are doing. So we had a wonderful time with our parents. And I kind of offhandedly mentioned that things might have been happening on social media yesterday. But basically, we’ve just been having some family time and went out to the movies last night,” Christine Pelosi said.

“I think it’s really important and one of the things I talk about in my book about my mom, Nancy Pelosi, is that she says, ‘You have to put politics on the shelf. You can’t obsess about things 24/7. You need to recharge and rejuvenate. And most importantly, be with your family. If you don’t build a life with your family, then you don’t have a quality of life that you can be out there defending when it’s time to get back to work,'” Pelosi added. (Video Below)
