House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) supported and praised Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey Ford, but now defends the Democrats’ presumptive nominee when she was recently asked about the sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden.
Ford leveled accusations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh in September 2018, launching a media onslaught and a series of congressional hearings into the allegations against the now-Supreme Court justice. Throughout these events, Pelosi expressed support for Ford, the Tennessee Star reported.
Thursday during a news conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) defended Biden when asked by a reporter about the sexual assault allegations against him.
The House Speaker informed the reporter: “Well, let me just say, I respect your question, and I don’t need a lecture or speech.”
“Here’s the thing,” she continued. “I have complete respect for the whole Me Too movement. I have four daughters and one son. And there’s a lot of excitement around the idea that woman will be heard and we will listen to.”
“There’s also due process. And the fact that Joe Biden is Joe Biden,” Pelosi said. “There’s been statements from his campaign or not his campaign, but his former employees who ran his offices and the rest– that there was never any record of this. There was never any record– and that nobody ever came forward– or that nobody ever came forward to say something about It, apart from the principle involved.” Video Below
Chief Creative Officer of Turning Point USA, Benny Johnson, took to Twitter Friday, posting a compilation of statements made by House Speaker Pelosi that show a comparison of how she felt toward Brett Kavanaugh versus Joe Biden’s sexual assault allegations.
Benny tweeted: “Watch how @SpeakerPelosi talked about the Sexual Assault Allegations against Brett Kavanaugh compared to Joe Biden. What happened to ‘Believe All Women’ and ‘Believe Survivors’? The Left can’t live up to the standards they set themselves. What changed, Nancy?”

On the morning of Dr. Ford’s testimony on September 27, 2018, Pelosi still appeared to believe Dr. Ford’s claims against Justice Kavanaugh as she continued to tweet the hashtag “#BelieveSurvivors” and expressing that Dr. Ford was brave in sharing her story, adding “That *must* not be overlooked”.
Far too few people are recognizing Dr. Ford’s sheer bravery in sharing her story today. That *must* not be overlooked. #BelieveSurvivors #KavanaughHearings https://t.co/dBGwOUmZYI
