Former Acting DNI Richard Grenell is calling for an investigation into California governor Gavin Newsom’s “election interference” after at least two ballots appear to have been mailed to dead people.

Grenell posted two images of mail-in ballots that were allegedly sent to people who have been dead for at least ten years, and he pinned the blame on Gov. Newsom, who signed an executive order for unsolicited mail-in voting in California for the 2020 election.

“This is a scandal. It’s being ignored by the media. It’s happening everyday!” he added. “Here are two ballots mailed to two people who have been dead for more than 10 years!”

President Trump and his campaign have warned of negative implications of mail-in voting, including widespread voter fraud that could result from the unmonitoring of ballots after they are sent out.

If the two ballots presented by Grenell were, in fact, mailed to people who have been dead for over a decade, there is no doubt the overall integrity of mail-in ballots will face new scrutiny, especially since there is no telling how many unreported, similar instances exist.
