While In Philadelphia, Biden Falsely Claims To Be Wearing An ‘Eagles Jacket’; Really Is Wearing A DE Blue Hens Logo

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden held an event Sunday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, making it known that he is from the Keystone State. While giving remarks, he falsely claimed though, that he was wearing an NFL Philadelphia Eagles jacket, when in fact, he was really wearing a Delaware Blue Hens logo on his jacket.

Biden said in part, “I was very happy to have the moniker of being PA’s third senator. I know Philadelphia well, I married a Philly girl, by the way. And by the way, I have my Eagles jack on.”

Joe Biden, however, was actually wearing a Delaware Blue Hens jacket, according to Deputy Director of Communications for the Trump campaign, Zach Parkinson, who posted a close up screenshot of Biden’s jacket with the logo. He also posted pictures of the logos from the NFL Eagles and the Delaware Blue Hens.

The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens men’s basketball team is the basketball team that represents University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.

Director of Communications for President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign, Tim Murtaugh, also noted that Biden was wearing a “Delaware Blue Hens” jacket.
