Joe Biden on Monday, delivered remarks over COVID-19 vaccines, although he did not mention that the vaccines are made possible because of Operation Warp Speed under the Trump administration.

In his remarks, Biden claimed, “I will always give you it straight, straight from the shoulder. Our work is far from over. The war against COVID-19 is far from won. This is deadly serious.”

Biden went on to say that he “shares the sentiment of Dr. Walensky”, the CDC Director, who said earlier in the day on Monday that she feels “impending doom” with the COVID case trajectory. “Right now I’m scared,” she claimed.

“This is not a time to lessen our efforts,” Biden said. “That’s what [the CDC director] said. We could still see a set back in the vaccination program. And most importantly, if we let our guard down now, we could see a virus getting worse, not better.”

“Because we are in a life and death race for the virus that is spreading quickly, with cases rising again, new variants are spreading, and sadly, some of the reckless behavior we’ve seen on television over the past few weeks, means that more new cases are to come in the weeks ahead,” Biden claimed, although he did not mention the thousands of illegal aliens his administration is allowing to enter into the United States.

“But people are letting up on precautions, which is very bad thing. Look, to this point, cases have fallen two-thirds since I took office. Deaths have also fallen two-thirds. And now cases are going back up. And some states, deaths are as well. … As much as we’re doing, America, it’s time to do even more,” he said. Continued Below

“I’m reiterating my call for every governor, mayor, and local leader to maintain and reinstate the mask mandate. Please, this is not politics,” the 47 year long career politician demanded.

“Reinstate the mandate if you let it down, and businesses should require masks as well. The failure to take this virus seriously– precisely what got us in this mess in the first place,” he claimed, even though most Americans have been wearing masks for a year now. “Risk more cases and desks, deaths,” he added.

Meanwhile, Texas COVID-19 cases took a solid dip in their total since lifting their state’s COVID restrictions, according to the state case count, as reported by Click 2 Houston. Video Below

“… Mask up. Mask up. It’s a patriotic duty. It’s the only way we ever get back to normal,” Biden also said, appearing to copy the 45th President, who last July, posted a picture of himself on Twitter during a visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center while wearing a mask and had suggested that it was “patriotic”.

“We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible China Virus, and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can’t socially distance. There is nobody more Patriotic than me, your favorite President!” the 45th Commander in Chief tweeted last summer.
