There’s no denying President Trump’s love, affection, and respect for the military.

No one can deny it. Not even liberals.

On his trip overseas to Paris, France during Bastille Day, the President loved the idea of having a big military parade day to show our love and respect for our military. In fact he was dazzled.

Last week, the White House announced they would ask the military to plan a great military parade in Washington DC.

However, democrats were not pleased.

On Wednesday during the White House press briefing, Secretary Mattis showed up and was pressed over President Trump’s idea of a military parade. Continued Below

Hallie Jackson, an NBC News reporter, asked Secretary Mattis if “it was really wise to spend money on a military parade?”

“To follow up on Catherine’s question, you just laid out the argument to fully funding the military, why you think every dollar counts. So why divert time, energy, financial resources to the planning of a parade as the President has asked?” she asked.

Mad Dog Mattis responded: “I think we’re all aware, in this country, of the president’s affection and respect for the military.” Video Below

“The President’s respect and fondness for the military is reflected in him asking Congress for these options.”

Would you like to see the military perform in a parade? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. I think any money spent on the military will be worth while to protect and yes I would like a parade in uniform with their guns

  2. No parade. I think the $$ would be better spent alleviating the homeless situation starting with our veterans.

    • How about Hollywood spend their money on the homeless instead of their $10,000 dresses and $100,000 jewelry?

  12. Sure, as long as they don’t do the enemy “goose step.”

  13. Gay pride and MLK has parades every year……

  14. Why didn’t the Liberals complain when the former administration FREELY GAVE 1.7 BILLION TO IRAN, but they complain about this?

Many countries combine military with other
    4th of July parade items.

  17. Yes, I think we all need a Parade for the President, the Military and We The People !!! I think it would be good for all of us,!!! I hope it will be televised, since everyone will not be able to go!!!

Yes we should have a parade! Let the military know that we love and respect them and also show our children what our military looks like other than on the battlefield!!! Show them the different types, I.e., Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines! Music, Tanks, the works! OUR COUNTRY NEEDS THIS NOW!!!

  19. We need a parade. What a wonderful way to honor those serving this country. I had two of my children serve. They loved being a member of the Navy and the Coast Guard.
