Wednesday on Valentines Day, First Lady Melania spent her afternoon visiting children at The Children’s Inn, in Bethesda, MD.

She traveled to the National Institutes of Health’s Children’s Inn, a private, nonprofit residence for children and families participating in pediatric research at the NIH.
In her first year in the White House, the First Lady has maintained an effort to fit in time with special children at events both foreign and domestic.
From reading with children at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll to visiting with students at multiple schools, Melania Trump appears set on addressing the needs of children from varying backgrounds. Even while abroad during foreign trips with President Trump.
During her visit on Valentines Day, Melania decorated cookies with sprinkles with the children and also participated in a Valentine’s Day card exchange. (VIDEOS BELOW)
Today, genuine compassion thrives in the White House with Melania as our First Lady. She’s an extraordinary, talented role model who is entirely underestimated by those who don’t understand her sheer importance, and the strong messages she delivers with her graceful and humble actions.
She leads by her own example of being a loving person, who thinks of ways to reach out, and help others more than themselves. This was clearly shown as a resemblance of her heart and her true character. We all can be excited to watch and see what she does in her future endeavors!
