Yesterday, President Trump responded negatively to AG Sessions.

POTUS heard the news that AG Sessions thought an IG review would be all that is necessary to bring Mueller’s wasteful witch hunt to heel.

President Trump was so opposed to Session’s idea that the Inspector General should be in charge instead of the DOJ that he  tweeted!

He said,

“Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!”

See tweet below.

The Washington Examiner, reported the BLOCKBUSTER news!

“A group of 13 Republican lawmakers have signed on to a letter asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions to appoint a second special counsel to investigate concerns they have with the Justice Department and FBI.”

In addition, “the lawmakers say this special counsel would look into agency leadership decisions to end the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized private email server, the circumstances surrounding the genesis of the Trump-Russia investigation.

And allegations in a recently released House Intelligence Committee memo regarding government surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.” See Who The 13 Lawmakers Are Below
