McCabe Backpeddles, Gives The Most Ludicrous Excuse For ‘Misstatements’ To Investigators

Andrew McCabe, former disgraced Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is trying with all his might to rewrite history.

Everyone is wrong except him. He is simply ‘misunderstood’ by fellow FBI investigators.

McCabe recently made a statement that you might hear from a child; he blamed and made excuses for lying to FBI investigators.

McCabe tries everything under the sun, except taking FULL responsibility for flat out lying to investigators.  And, this was our Deputy Director of the FBI?!

McCabe claims he was “confused!”

Granted, he is confused. That happens when you spin a yarn and can’t recall your own fibs. Oh what a tangled web he weaved. (Read statement below.)

Recently, McCabe wrote an op ed for the Washington Post. Although it is excellent fodder for their circular reporting routine, get a load of the excuses McCabe laid down.

“I have been accused of “lack of candor.” That is not true. I did not knowingly mislead or lie to investigators. When asked about contacts with a reporter that were fully within my power to authorize as deputy director, and amid the chaos that surrounded me, I answered questions as completely and accurately as I could. And when I realized that some of my answers were not fully accurate or may have been misunderstood, I took the initiative to correct them. At worst, I was not clear in my responses, and because of what was going on around me may well have been confused and distracted — and for that I take full responsibility.” – Andrew McCabe

McCabe wants special treatment for lying under oath. 

To hear McCabe tell it, it was POTUS who had him fired. Although, that is just another one of McCabe’s lies. Additionally, Andrew was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the recommendation of the Office of Professional Responsibility.

As reported by Fox News, “Simply put, FBI agents who are entrusted with the life, liberty and property of our citizens through their investigative work cannot mislead, spin, nuance or lie under oath. Their word is the currency of the realm.”  

The bottom line is, TRUTH telling is imperative in life, and especially in the FBI. Zero tolerance for liars, McCabe.
