On Friday night, President Trump ordered the United States Armed Forces to launch precision strikes on targets in Syria in response to more alleged chemical attacks by Bashar al Assad.

The strikes were carried out with the help of France and United Kingdom military. And although Russia, who is Syria’s strong ally, said the condemned the strikes and said they did very little damage, President Trump gave a conflicting analysis of the strikes. See Below

TRUMP REACTS TO SYRIAN STRIKES

Moments ago, President Trump issued his first response following the military strikes in Syria, by saying the strikes were a success and reminded the world the US military is the best in the world. Trump said:

“A perfectly executed strike last night. Thank you to France and the United Kingdom for their wisdom and the power of their fine Military. Could not have had a better result. Mission Accomplished!”

“So proud of our great Military which will soon be, after the spending of billions of fully approved dollars, the finest that our Country has ever had. There won’t be anything, or anyone, even close!” SEE BELOW

TRUMP’S ORIGINAL TWEETS

There is no doubt Russia is taking note of Trump’s comments, as their leaders have convened to address how to retaliate, since they are strongly oposed to the strikes and warned the US if they were carried out. Vladimir Putin released the following statement concerning the strikes per FOX News:

“Russia condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack against Syria where Russia military personnel are assisting the legitimate government in counterterrorism efforts.”

We have yet to see if Russia attempts to react with force on their own behalf. However, there is no doubt Trump’s approach to Syria is completely opposite to that of former President Barack Obama. Obama supposedly drew a red line when it came to Syria’s use of chemical weapons on its citizens, but never followed through on his warning, unlike Trump.

And with the help of France and the UK, it’s apparent that Trump is showing the world that he means it when he says there are consequences to using chemical weapons. And the US will not tolerate it as long as he is President.
