Yesterday in Washington D.C., Kenneth Klukowski, Senior Legal Editor for Breitbart News reports an astonishing backlash to the Constitution. Junior Senator, Cory Booker (D-NJ) completely stepped over the line!
Klukowski, reports, “Booker announced on Facebook late Friday that he will vote against Pompeo. Saying that the former congressman’s religious beliefs on these issues make him unfit to serve in federal office representing the United States.” It is difficult to believe that a United States Senator would openly violate the Constitution, in this manner.
Furthermore, Klukowski cites Booker as writing, “I believe you can’t lead the people if you don’t love the people,” Booker wrote. The senator then quotes Bible verses that he thinks Pompeo is not living up to, including references to loving his neighbor.” Booker leaves a public trail of his violation on Face Book.
Then the Brietbart Senior Legal Editor lays it down. He confirms, “Article VI of the U.S. Constitution provides, “No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office of public Trust under the United States.” Perhaps, we should send Booker a copy of the Constitution.
Additionally, he continues, “Conservative and Christian leaders are appalled at Booker’s announcement, saying the Constitution forbids Booker’s voting against Pompeo because of the nominee’s religious beliefs.”

Moreover, the best response to Senator Booker is from an American patriot who understands and respects the Constitution. He says, “I’m not sure how you swear to uphold the Constitution and then vote over and over again to violate it.”
