Today, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee members are busy bees on Capitol Hill! The Dems and Repubs are hashing it out!
They are deciding to recommend or not the nomination of Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State over to the Senate floor.
What this means!
If the Foreign Relations Committee deems Pompeo’s recommendation as Secretary of State to be unfavorable. It will make President Trump look bad. But. Just because the Foreign Relations Committee votes against the recommendation, it does not mean the Pompeo nomination will not go to the Senate floor for a vote.
Because his nomination will go to the Senate floor, with or without the blessings of the Foreign Relations Committee. Moreover, Pompeo is expected to win the nomination. (MORE BELOW.)

He continues with his blockbuster announcement: “I will vote to confirm Mike Pompeo to be our next Secretary of State.”

And a few moments ago, CNN reports, “Later on Monday, Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly of Indiana also said he supports the CIA Director to be Secretary of State.”
And Senator Heidi Heitkamp (ND-D)has “publicly announced support for Pompeo. All three are up for re-election in states President Donald Trump won in 2016″ per CNN.
