First Lady, Melania Trump has been busy making the best plans for our French allies! The Macrons of France are visiting the United States on their first official excursion here!
French President Emmanuel Macron beat Marion Anne Perrine “Marine” Le Pen in the last election in France. And it has been reported by The Hill that “the French president said in an interview broadcast Sunday that he and Trump have developed a strong personal relationship.“ (VIDEOS BELOW.)
This bodes well for the two allies. Additionally, the relationship between France and the United States goes back centuries. After all, it was the French who sent America her Statue of Liberty circa 1886.
“Several foreign leaders have visited the White House since Trump took office, but Macrons will be the first ceremonial state visit” as reported by The Hill. And Melania is preparing for it quite seriously and representing the United States in the best way possible!
The following are the carefully laid plans for the extraordinary visit from our BFF’s (best friends forever) across the pond! And our First Lady has been adding her special touches throughout the events planned below!
The Macrons and The Trump’s schedule for Monday, April 23rd:
· Lunch with Vice President Mike Pence
· Arrival of the President of France and Mrs. Macron
· Plant a tree on the South Lawn with President of France and Mrs. Macron (SEE VIDEO BELOW!)
· Tour the Mount Vernon Mansion with President of France and Mrs. Macron
· Dinner with President of France and Mrs. Macron
· View Washington’s Tomb with President of France and Mrs. Macron

The Hill reports on the menu! “The menu will consist of three courses, which will include American dishes with French influences. The main course will be a rack of spring lamb with Carolina gold rice jambalaya.
Additionally, “The White House will serve wines made from French plants harvested in Oregon. The Washington National Opera from the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts will perform for the night’s entertainment.”

UPDATE: A short while ago, this video was posted by Brian Ries which states, “Trump and Macron each shovel some dirt towards the base of the tree, symbolically planting it at the White House.” And with complete grace, Melania takes the hand of the First Lady of France as their husbands trowel the ground!

Our First Lady leads by her own example of being a caring person, who thinks of ways to reach out and help others in a moment of need. The exact way she did for Mrs. Macron. This was clearly shown as a resemblance of her heart and her true character. We all can be excited to watch and see what she does in her future endeavors!
