Late last night, Catherine Herridge, Fox News’ Chief Intelligence Correspondent, reports a MONUMENTAL, amplified moment for former FBI Director James Comey.
Furthermore, she reports on his LYING to either the House Intelligence Committee or Bret Baier during a broadcast last week. Catherine juxtaposed his testimony to his live interview with Baier. And guess what…they don’t jive! He either lied to Congress or to the American people. If he lied to Congress, that’s potential jail time if prosecuted. (VIDEO BELOW.)
Catherine begins her report by saying, “In this new version, the Republican House Intelligence Committee (HIC) special report was released just a short time ago.”
Herridge continues, “It is now a cleaner version with fewer redaction’s. [A] key section involves former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn who plead guilty to one count of making false statements on December first. In a special counsel investigation about his conversations with the Russian ambassador.”
Moreover, “the report states that both former FBI Director James Comey and his Deputy Director, Andrew McCabe testified to the HIC that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn saw NO SIGNS of deception.”
McCabe -“Acknowledged that the two people who interviewed Flynn, didn’t think he was lying. Which was not a great beginning of a false statement case.” (MORE BELOW.)
Director Comey testified to the committee that the agents discerned “no physical indications of deception. They didn’t see any change in posture, in tone, in inflection, in eye contact. They saw nothing that indicated to them that they knew he was lying to them.”
Oh the tangled webs we weave once we practice to deceive.
Herridge continues with her report and says, “But when pressed by Bret Baier last week, Comey suggested something else about his testimony.” Catherine shows the Bret Baier clip and below is the transcript: (VIDEO BELOW.)
Bret asks Comey, “Did you tell lawmakers that FBI agents didn’t believe former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn was lying intentionally to investigators?”
Comey responds, “No.” Bret asks again, “You did not say that?” Comey states, “And I saw that in media. I don’t know what. Maybe someone misunderstood what I said. I didn’t believe that. I didn’t say that,” Comey says.
It appears disgraced FBI Director, James Comey is doubling down on his comment. Despite the HIC’s records indicating he said otherwise in his testimony to Congress.
