In a huge attempt to take President Trump’s words out of context when he referred to MS13 gang members as ‘animals’, it appears the MSM is now making retractions!
As reported yesterday, an unfounded uproar followed the remark. Specifically, by the mainstream media, politicians and Democrats across the Nation as they looked at the moment as another chance to smear the President for making racist comments directed to all immigrants. (Videos Below.)
The only problem with their notion is the widely circulated clip clearly shows Trump was referring to MS-13 (gangs) when saying, “These aren’t people. They’re animals.”
As an example, the failing New York Times, entitled an article called “Trump Calls Some Unauthorized Immigrants ‘Animals’ in Rant.” USA Today and Washington Post joined in on the falsehood. Immediately, the press and anti-Trump establishment began railing and implying he is a racist. At least, the AP did delete the initial tweet.
Purposefully, the rest of the clip was not shown to make it appear President Trump was speaking about all illegal immigrants. And he was not. Clearly. He was speaking, specifically of the MS-13 gangs. See the video below.
This is not the first time the press has taken a comment out of context. And likely won’t be the last. However, the more POTUS and others begin to call the media out, perhaps, the less inclined they will be to try the tired and dishonest tactic again. (Videos Below.)
President Trump tweets this morning about the retractions from the dishonest left wing media early this morning.
“Fake News Media had me calling Immigrants, or Illegal Immigrants, “Animals.” Wrong! They were begrudgingly forced to withdraw their stories. I referred to MS 13 Gang Members as “Animals,” a big difference – and so true. Fake News got it purposely wrong, as usual!”

POTUS is in an immigration meeting. He denounces the MS-13 gangs entering the United States and committing heinous crimes.
POTUS doubles down on MS-13 remark. He was not speaking of ALL immigrants. The left is now defending the MS-13 gangs.
WATCH Jesse Waters address the issue of fake stories. He specifically uses Animal Gate as an example.
