The Eagles have decided that kneeling in protest is more important than respecting the flag of the United States. More important than all of those who were slain so they could have the right to protest. The irony does not escape most Americans.
And frankly, we’re growing weary of the football team players and the shenanigans and shade they are throwing down. Many of the Eagles have decided to boycott the customary Superbowl ceremonial win at the White House. They refuse to stand for the National Anthem at the ceremony. (MORE BELOW.)
The event is planned for tomorrow, June 5th in D.C. Additionally, President Trump responds by saying he will still hold the event. For the football fans of America who want to honor our great country!
Despite the Eagles team deciding to bring politics into our American sports, the President graciously offered to show up. He will be there with the Marine Band! With or without the sour grape Eagle’s players who are incapable of putting their hands on their hearts! What has happened to sportsmanship in sports?

They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country,” Trump said in a Monday evening statement. “The Eagles wanted to send a smaller delegation, but the 1,000 fans planning to attend the event deserve better. These fans are still invited to the White House to be part of a different type of ceremony—one that will honor our great country, pay tribute to the heroes who fight to protect it, and loudly and proudly play the National Anthem.
I will be there at 3:00 p.m. with the United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus to celebrate America.”
