First lady Melania Trump met with Customs and Border Protection officials, border ranchers, and others at the Border Patrol headquarters in Tucson, AZ this morning.
Mrs. Trump arrived at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base shortly before 10:00 a.m. She then went directly to the Border Patrol headquarters, which is adjacent to the base on East Golf Links Road. (Video Below)
The First Lady met with several officials, including Rodolfo Karisch, chief Border Patrol agent for the Tucson Sector, who told Mrs. Trump he was very pleased that she came to visit, tour the facility, and meet with personnel.
Melania Trump is also expected to visit facilities holding immigrant families in Tucson and possibly in Phoenix later in the day.

Tuscon is housing them, safely, and giving them shelter, food, and health care. They also explain how they detect human traffic issues and stop this from happening by immigrants who intended to do so, after entering our country. (Video Below)
Border control is seizing large amounts of drugs keeping them out of our country and from making it to the hands of our young people.
The first ladies spokesperson said of Melania, “She’s learning that these people at [Health and Human Services] facilities are providing some outstanding care under difficult circumstances. She’s advocating for quality care for these children under difficult circumstances.”

Michelle Obama never went to the border to visit children.

According to officials at the Departments of Homeland Security and Health And Human Services, there is no record of Michelle Obama making a public visit to any child detention center before, during or after her tenure as first lady.
Both Michelle Obama and Barack Obama have criticized the Trump administration for enforcing immigration laws on our border, which may result in the separation of illegal immigrant parents and children. The Obamas faced similar issues during their administration, as thousands of accompanied and unaccompanied minors flooded the U.S. border with Mexico, particularly during Obama’s second term. Obama detained thousands of migrant children in cages, and lawsuits accuse his administration of inhuman conditions in detainment facilities.
Despite thousands of migrant minors being held in detainment during their administration, there are no records indicating that Mrs. Obama took the time to visit one of the detention centers that held accompanied and unaccompanied minors.
First Lady Melania is making a bold move and it shows she really cares, especially since it’s her second visit.
