Here is What Pres Trump & First Lady Melania Will Be Doing On Independence Day

President Trump and First Lady Melania are hosting a Fourth of July party with fireworks at the White House for military families in the evening.

In late June the White House announced, “President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will celebrate Independence Day at the White House by welcoming military families to the South Lawn for an afternoon picnic.  In the evening, staff and guests will join the military families to enjoy the traditional fireworks display provided by the National Park Service.” (Video Below)

The President’s party will be broadcast in partnership with the Hallmark channel and will feature a live performance “from musical artists Sara Evans, pianist Lola Astanova, former American Idol finalist Jax, recent American Idol finalist Jonny Brenns “The President’s Own” United States Marines Band, The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters, and The United States Air Force Band’s Max Impact.”

The program is set to start at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Hallmark Channel.

The President tweeted, “Happy Fourth of July….Our Country is doing GREAT!”

Additionally, the First Lady tweeted, “Happy #IndependenceDay May God bless this great nation & all the people who protect it!”

The President also tweeted a video for Independence Day.
