Mueller Unleashes A New Dirty Little Trick That Could Hide Key Evidence In Manafort’s Favor

As time spent on their lengthy ‘Witch Hunt’ continues to tick, more and more tactics used by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team shows just how shady they really are.

As if sending un-tried 69 year-old Paul Manafort to solitary confinement isn’t enough, Mueller’s team is now attempting another maneuver that could ruin Manafort’s chances of proving his innocence to the grand jury. See Below

According to a report by Bloomberg, Mueller’s team of “13 Angry Democrats” are now asking U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson to roadblock Manafort from arguing to the jury that he has been selectively targeted for vindictive reasons.

In other words, Mueller doesn’t want it to be known that there could be a motive behind why he went after Manafort. In this case, the motive could be shown as an attempt to find collusion between President Trump’s campaign and Russia, which none appears to exist at this point. And that’s not all!

According to Bloomberg:

Prosecutors also want to bar Manafort from introducing evidence that he was previously investigated but not charged before Mueller was appointed in May 2017. The requests came in a court filing Monday in Washington, where Manafort is accused of money laundering, obstruction of justice and failing to register as a foreign agent of Ukraine. Continued Below

Mueller’s “Pit Bull” Andrew Weissmann and fellow prosecutor Greg Andres are quoted as saying in their filing to the judge:

“The government’s reasons for initiating a prosecution have nothing to do with whether the evidence at trial proves the elements of the charged offenses, which is the sole question that the jury must answer.”

Manafort was previously investigated by the Department of Justice before Mueller got his hands on the case. And he was not prosecuted for the same charges Mueller is now trying to prosecute him for.

According to Bloomberg’s report, the pair of prosecutors are arguing that it would be misleading for those facts to be pointed out to the jury. Furthermore, if they have enough dirt on Manafort, why are they trying so hard to make these tidbits of facts unknown?

Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton, argues that the only reason Mueller’s team is going all-in on Manafort is because it is all they have to stand on. Without Manafort’s case that’s unrelated to Russian collusion, they have nothing, according to Fitton. You can see Fitton’s full remarks by CLICKING HERE. or watch the Video Below.
