President Trump came out swinging Friday afternoon, as he arrived at his New Jersey golf club, with a pair of tweets.

He knows how to get his message directly to us, bypassing the fake new.

With that being said, the President went off on the “fake news media” for criticizing how he acted towards Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He pinned them as “hypocrites” in his fiery response, adding they would criticize him even if he was tough with Putin.

President Trump was condemned by Democrats, as well as members of the mainstream media, for dismissing Russian interference in the last presidential election during a press conference with Putin on Monday.

In the months leading up to President Trump’s summit in Singapore with Kim Jung Un, President Trump referred to the North Korean leader as “Rocket Man” and threatened the country with “fire and fury” if it endangered the U.S. with its nuclear weapons program. (Continued Below)

Again, Trump was also criticized for those comments.

However, in A matter of minutes, Trump torches MSM & smothers NFL’s tormenting flame:

President Trump tweeted, “I got severely criticized by the Fake News Media for being too nice to President Putin. In the Old Days they would call it Diplomacy. If I was loud & vicious, I would have been criticized for being too tough. Remember when they said I was too tough with Chairman Kim? Hypocrites!” (Continued Below)

Next, the President pointed to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in another tweet, calling upon Goodell to further punish players who protest at games by kneeling during the national anthem.

Trump, noted Goodell’s $40 million a year salary, and tweeted that the NFL commissioner must “make a stand” and suspend players for games or the entire season if they continue to kneel.

The NFL National Anthem Debate is alive and well again – can’t believe it! Isn’t it in contract that players must stand at attention, hand on heart? The $40,000,000 Commissioner must now make a stand. First time kneeling, out for game. Second time kneeling, out for season/no pay!

The President’s tweet comes after the league announced Thursday it would freeze its newly-enforced policy that requires players to remain standing while the anthem played at games.

The new policy was met by an objection last week from the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), which filed a complaint against the NFL over the policy which is widely unpopular with players.

A statement from the NFL read:

“In order to allow this constructive dialogue to continue, we have come to a standstill agreement on the NFLPA’s grievance and on the NFL’s anthem policy. No new rules relating to the anthem will be issued or enforced for the next several weeks while these confidential discussions are ongoing.”

“The NFL and NFLPA reflect the great values of America, which are repeatedly demonstrated by the many players doing extraordinary work in communities across our country to promote equality, fairness and justice,” the statement continued. “Our shared focus will remain on finding a solution to the anthem issue through mutual, good faith commitments, outside of litigation.”
