Devin Nunes, Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence wrote a congressional memo in early February.
The Republican memo outlined the concern that FISA abuse had occurred in regard to the issuance of a warrant to surveil an American citizen, Carter Page.
Shortly afterward, the Democrats wrote their own doc denouncing the Nunes memo.
Moreover, the Dems have been maligning Nunes’ reputation and the content of the Republican memo ever since. Specifically, Adam Schiff.
And, today was no different when Schiff all but calls Nunes a liar!
Schiff tweets, “The release of the Carter Page FISA application makes clear, once again, the FBI acted lawfully and appropriately. This hasn’t stopped the President and Republicans from repeating the same fraudulent taking points in the discredited Nunes memo.” (Continued Below)
The American people are receiving conflicting information. So, leave it to the ever logical journalists at the Washington Examiner to stay true to their name!
The Washington Examiner took a copy of the Nunes Republican memo and cross referenced it with the newly released FISA application.
After examining the two documents, their discovery “shows the Nunes memo was overwhelmingly accurate. Perhaps some Democrats do not believe it should have been written, or they dispute what it included and left out, or they do not agree with its conclusions, but it was in fact accurate.” (Continued Below)
Nunes, tweets a short time later about the assessment, once again, proving Schiff is out of control with his falsehoods!
The chairman of the HPSCI congressional committee tweets, “Shocker! Nunes memo accurate…LOL!…media/Dems go on wild rants…TIME TO ELIMINATE REDACTIONS…PLEASE RT.”
