Bernie & AOC Eat Each Other’s Cake After Seeing Results Of Cross-Party Socialism Poll

A curious thing happened in New Jersey. It was so surprising the old guard took notice and decided to run with it.

The day 28-year-old millennial Alexandria Ocaslo-Cortez took the title from the 10-term incumbent, Joe Crowley in New Jersey was the day the DNC started tanking.

In a stunning victory with 20% of the voters showing up for the primary, and “a campaign manager who moonlights as an energy healer. A photographer who sings in a heavy metal band. A Muslim progressive activist who runs a cooking blog in her spare time,” Alexandria rose to National attention, the Chicago Tribune reports.

It was an unlikely crew outside politics who defined a socialist candidate on a national basis.

But what does this mean to America, really? Do American’s truly want to see ‘America the Great’ turn socialist?

As reports The Hill, a TV/Harris X American Barometer poll which was conducted between July 21st and 22nd with 1,001 American voters shows:

Seventy-six percent of respondents in a recent survey said they would NOT vote for a “socialist candidate,” while 24 percent of those polled said they have no problem with the hypothetical candidate.”

However, “those results conflict with Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez’s prediction that young politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. A dues-paying member of New York City’s chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America — represent his party’s “future.”

The Hill continues, “In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal earlier in July, former Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman cautioned his party about turning too far left.”

“‘The policies Ms. Ocasio-Cortez advocates are so far from the mainstream, her election in November would make it harder for Congress to stop fighting and start fixing problems,’ Lieberman wrote,” in the WSJ.
