FRIDAY FURY: Pres Trump Renews Attacks On NFL After Players Kneel In Debut

The NFL began it’s 2018 preseason last night. And as NFL’ers began to kneel Colin Kaepernick tweets his support.

POTUS tweets his thoughts on the subject of the kneelers, as well.

Even if it’s only preseason…karma, players, karma!

Miami Dolphins (kneel) Vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fox News reports, “Wide receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson, both of the Miami Dolphins, knelt during “The Star-Spangled Banner. Robert Quinn, a defensive end for the Dolphins, raised his fist.”

Then Colin tweets, “My brother continued his protest of systemic oppression tonight by taking a knee. Albert Wilson joined him in protest. Stay strong brothers!”

Karma hit the Dolphins though as they LOST to the Buccaneers. 26-24.

Philadelphia Eagles (kneel) Vs. Pittsburg Steelers

During the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Steelers, Les Bowen with the Philly News reports, “Malcolm Jenkins and De’Vante Bausby raised their fists during the anthem. Michael Bennett walked out of the tunnel during the anthem and spent the anthem walking toward the bench. Chris Long placed his arm around Jenkins’ shoulder.”

The Philadelphia Eagles lost in a much bigger way against the Steelers. The score 14-31…with Steelers burying the kneel team into the ground.

POTUS weighs in.

In an impassioned encouragement for the kneelers to do the right thing in a two-tweet series, President Trump believes they need to be hit in the pocket-book and be “suspended without pay.” He tweets:

“The NFL players are at it again – taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem. Numerous players, from different teams, wanted to show their “outrage” at something that most of them are unable to define. They make a fortune doing what they love……

….Be happy, be cool! A football game, that fans are paying soooo much money to watch and enjoy, is no place to protest. Most of that money goes to the players anyway. Find another way to protest. Stand proudly for your National Anthem or be Suspended Without Pay!”
